SENIOR THESIs - Social Media & Photography: Comparing the Snapshot and Canva Aesthetics

CONTENT CREATION

As a designer, photographer, and informed social media user, I have a variety of experiences with content creation. See the photography and design tabs for examples of this work.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT – ORGANIC

As a business owner myself, I understand the value and importance of maintaining branded social media platforms to gain exposure and ultimately drive revenue. I monitor and manage several Instagram accounts, most notably, my photography account where I strive to maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all of my posts (see below).

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT – PAID

After working as a Growth Marketing Intern with the Paid Social Team at NOBULL, I am experienced in the following:

  • Building Instagram & Facebook ads to support launches, restocks, & gaps

  • Reviewing weekly campaign performance and generating weakly and monthly KPI reporting

  • Maintaining a Creative Tracker and generating performance insights to inform the team with creative learnings

  • Making strategic, data-driven decisions when selecting copy and creative for advertisements

PUBLISHING - pre & POST

Through my education at Endicott College, I received my Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite. Hootsuite is a tool used to schedule content for social media in advance which is incredibly helpful with sustaining a consistent posting schedule. Additionally, I am familiar with post-published analysis through my experience with Meta Suite where I have evaluated the performance of Instagram and Facebook ads, on Facebook Ads Manager specifically, by looking at key performance indicators such as results, spend, ROAS, impressions, and more. Analyzing performance insights allows for more informed creative decisions for future posts.

SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYSIS

I have conducted various social media analyses throughout my experiences in the marketing world, but one in particular that I want to shed light on is my analysis of the Falmouth Dog Park Instagram. Below are the findings I made as well as the corresponding recommendations for future implementation.
